Who is Mina Caustic?
an artist masquerading as a model.
a model moonlighting as a writer.
a goth in girl’s clothing.
Currently studying illustration at San Jose State University. Often distracted with something new that she’s learning about. Usually tired and napping, attempting to regain art school HP. A gemini dragon, which implies that she is always learning new things, starting new projects, and is loud and friendly at parties.
Why the pen name?
Some may wonder, “Why Mina Caustic?” As an alternative model, weird girl, artist, what-have-you, an interesting pen name fits. I have a cynical, biting sense of humor and I am known for my brutal honesty. These can be considered acidic or caustic quirks. Ergo, Mina Caustic.
How often do you update?
Generally on the weekends. I don’t have much time during the week because of my job and school, so look for updates between Thursday-Monday. That’s my usual post range, and it has a bell curve.

This website was created largely using Photoshop, Dreamweaver, the Atahualpa theme from WordPress, PHP/CSS, and as usual, help from knowledgeable friends.
To create small elements in the site, I used brushes made by Doug Keeling and Jenn B., and both the main backkground and footer background texture was made by Evan Eckard. Custom fonts on posts and sidebars are thanks to Google Web Fonts. Unless stated otherwise, everything else on this site is copyrighted to me.
