This theme makes much more sense. I need to start creating graphics now and personalizing this baby so I can call it my own, but I think I’m finally done (or close), to tinkering with making this page work how I want it to.
Rule of thumb with creating—make sure it works. It needs to be structurally sound and efficient. After that, go to town, make it as pretty as you want. This same principle applies to architecture, illustrating, programming, what-have-you. I think one of the only disciplines that stand as an exception to the rule is writing. Writing is freeform. However, you had to learn structure to get to where you are now as a freeform genius, didn’t you?
